Let’s welcome to BURN EVERYTHING

Debut Track MOON

November 30 2020 Today we have  a debut by BURN EVERYTHING fronted by Chez Davis, the band from the UK presents an interesting fusion of hip hop, synths, and riffs that is going to keep you moving whole day long.

Asking Chez about how moon came about? His reply was:

“Lockdown changed the way this one came about! Writing all our parts over video chat was something alien to us for sure, but we adapted. When writing moon I think we were looking for an escape from earth in any way. I think we all needed a pick up to be honest, so the bop and tempo of the track wrote itself. A few vocal sessions recorded separately from our rooms followed by a few slow zoom calls with very very bad reception and we’d somehow arrived at our debut single moon, all without seeing each other for months. “

And talking about something they  would like a first-time listener to know? “Just before lockdown we were lucky enough to go record with the producer of Miley Cyrus, Metallica, and Papa Roach.”

Are you ready to listen to these guys?

Let’s welcome to CHILD STAR

Debut Track MOVIES

November 25 2020. Today we have another great debut turn for “Indie-pop outfit Child Star is a London-Stockholm project that has travelled far since its niche dream pop and shoegaze inspired demos, to the more resolute indie-pop sound we hear in “Movies”.” Out via our friends from Blitzcat Records.

Did you ever lie to your parents about where you were going to avoid questions? Certainly I and   Reyna (my wife) did it a lot when we’re teenagers. The truth is that was the perfect lie to can go out and do any other stuff we want back then. “Written in Paris and mastered by Ed Ripley (Goat Girl), Movies is the embodiment of nostalgia for the intensity of teenage friendships and how this shouldn’t have to fade as people grow up. I never want to get too old for sleepovers and I don’t think anyone does.”

“Songwriter Ondrej was dead set on the band name even before Julia responded to his online advert, an actual child star herself amongst the Swedish horror movie circuit. Beneath the duo’s lucid guitar sound and strutting bass grooves, Child Star’s lyrics reflect the feeling that our everyday lives don’t need to be taken so seriously, despite the uncertain times we find ourselves in.”

The Sceptics (Manchester Scene)

This five mates fronted by Isaac Pugh, rhythm guitar Will Riley, lead guitar Oli “Jacko” Jackson, bass guitar Ollie Dunne and drummer Jamies Foster Grime are know as The Sceptics they’re from manchester and I asked them what bands they love and Will give this answer

“Being from Manchester, it is impossible to escape the world of the ‘Manchester scene’. We are very big fans of Manchester based such bands as Oasis, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Courteeners and James, as well as some slightly more modern indie/rock bands such as the Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian. On top of this we also all enjoy some of the rock and roll classics, by bands such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Pink Floyd , the Jimi Hendrix experience and so on. We also take some inspiration from bands which share our heritage. For example the Saw Doctors, who are of course one of the great Irish bands.”

Also he share with us a little of their way that brings them here today

“We are a band based mainly in Altrincham, South Manchester. Despite only being together for roughly 8 months, we have managed to gather ourselves a decent following, and a reputation for putting on exciting live performances. With a combination of Dunne’s funky bass lines, Riley’s powerful rhythms, Foster-Grime’s exciting drum beats, Pugh’s powerful vocals and catchy lyrics with Jacko’s intriguing decorations and sensational solos, we have managed to create some high tempo, groovy songs which get people up on their feet and bouncing, as well as some slightly slower singalong songs. We are very keen on bringing the indie rock scene back to where it once was”

And now what’s next

”Within the next 12 months, we plan to have a 5 song ep recorded and released. We also plan to headline and sell out a gig at a venue with at least 200 capacity. For example the Deaf Institute which we played at already as a support act. We also plan to start producing merchandise, selling both online with a website which we plan to set up, as well as establishing a Merch stand for when we play live.”

Well I only can say this:  so far so good, really love this debut single it’s pretty solid, great lyrics the music following the voice of Isaac everything perfectly balance,  is a very promising start, hopefully all this madness finish soon and all of us can come back to our normal life and we’ll be waiting for more tracks by The Sceptics.
